I am starting to look at how to forecast Torö, a windsurf break on the outskirts of Stockholm. It’s notoriously difficult to forecast with traditional tools like Surfline, so I am starting this project to see if I can use other local weather APIs to build my own, more accurate signal for when it’s worth taking the drive out. For now, it just aggregates the different sites that are useful to check. My aim is to combine these inputs along with localized adjustments to provide an ideal output and notifications.
