Had some time to kill on a train ride just now, so got cracking on a few Baltic Surf updates. I have now set up a live and forecast view of Torö. The live data is fetched from the closest weather station I could find located on a small island just a few kilometers off the coast of Torö. Meanwhile, the forecasted data is fetched from Windy.com's API. Next steps are to clean this up a bit more and then implement a reverse search function where I store a library of videos from Torö that have been labeled with the weather conditions of when they were taken. I can then fetch the video that has the most similar conditions to the current "Live View's" conditions. This will then give a semi-realistic visual comparison of what the conditions might look like... that's the plan at least!
